Wimmera Mallee Sports Mentoring Program – provides funding for students from low SE families to participate in junior sports programs – nominated by primary schools.

Jump Start program- Significant numbers of children start school well behind the development of their peers. Without additional intensive support, many of these children never catch up.  Jump Start provides additional support with school garden healthy eating, oral language development, metacognitive development, gross and fine motor skills, literacy development, social skills and social connection

Reading Buddies program – community volunteers go to 14 Primary Schools to support young people’s literacy development.  Prime objective is to improve children’s reading ability, but there are also significant mental health & wellbeing benefits for the Reading Buddies.

Reducing Harmful Alcohol & Drug Use

Knowledge is Power program – 5 AOD education sessions presented by health professionals, youth workers & police. Consistent, accurate best practice information presented to students in an interactive format
